Anritsu Establishes China Business Center
Tokyo, August 1, 2002, Anritsu Corporation (Anritsu, President A.
Shiomi)(TSE: 6754) today announced that it has established a new
corporate center (China Business Center) to be responsible for overall
planning and executing of business strategies in China.
Communication market of China is now growing rapidly and is expected
to expand in future. Anritsu has established Customer Support Bases in
10 major cities in China, which would cover whole China market.
Additionally, Anritsu has established gBUPT-Anritsu Research Center of
Optic-Electronic Inspectionh in collaboration with Beijing University of
Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), which is majoring in communication,
and is promoting co-development of advanced measuring instruments,
focusing on the next generation network, Photonic network for China.
China Business Center will promote speedy decision making and
flexible resource allocation of Anritsu group, and also will enhance its
competitive advantage in the rapidly growing China market at Anritsu
focusing on business domain, Mobile and IP/Optical communication market,
aiming sales revenue 20billion Yen in China in FY2003.
Vice President, Goro Saito has been appointed Head of the China
Business Center and other 12 staff work for the office. |
